This Cancellation and Refund Policy regulates the terms and conditions regarding the cancellation, package changes, and fee refund processes for press release distribution services purchased through Press Earth. The aim is to provide a fair and transparent application for Users' change or cancellation requests after purchase. This policy is supplementary to the Terms of Service and is an integral part of the agreement between Press Earth and the User.
Press Earth values User satisfaction and strives to provide committed services with the highest quality. However, due to the nature of digital press release distribution services, it is not possible to cancel a distribution that has begun or withdraw published content. This policy clarifies under what circumstances fee refunds or alternative solutions can be offered in light of these facts.
The press release distribution process begins when the User gives content approval or (if submitting their own prepared content) when the order is submitted to the system. From this moment, the bulletin is queued for distribution to the Press Earth network and begins to be transmitted to media partners shortly thereafter.
After distribution has started or after content has been published, cancellation or refund is no longer possible. The main reasons for this:
After the publication process has started, content automatically begins to be published on multiple external news sites outside of Press Earth's control. Withdrawing content from these sites or stopping publication is technically and operationally nearly impossible.
Therefore, no fee refund will be made for a bulletin that has been distributed with User approval. After the User submits the bulletin and initiates the publication process, they cannot request a refund of the purchase price even if they are not satisfied with the content or do not achieve the expected impact. The User who approves the press release and initiates the publication process is deemed to have accepted that the content is exactly as desired and has requested the performance of the service.
Note: Press Earth aims to ensure User satisfaction by providing a pre-distribution approval mechanism. Please check your bulletin in all details before distribution (spelling errors, correct links, correct contact information, appropriateness of images, etc.). After giving approval, all responsibility belongs to the User and Press Earth is obligated to carry out the distribution.
Package upgrade is only possible if the content of the current package is included in the new package. For example, when upgrading from Starter to Core, the difference is paid. Since Core is already included in all plans except Starter, in this case the Core fee is offset.
Upgrading is not considered cancellation or refund; it is an additional service purchase. The original order date retains its validity and the upgrade fee is non-refundable.
Press Earth guarantees the publication of your press release on all channels within the purchased package. In case publication does not occur, the relevant channel is contacted to inquire about the reason and retransmission is provided in the format requested by the channel.
If the User violates the Terms of Service (for example, by submitting false, illegal, or prohibited content), Press Earth has the right to unilaterally cancel the service. In this case, a fee refund is made.
For minor violations, the user may be given an opportunity to correct; however, for serious violations, immediate cancellation is applied. The User accepts in advance that no fee refund will be made for bulletins that have been distributed.
When approved by Press Earth, the refund is processed through the original payment method whenever possible. The time for the transaction to be reflected in the account depends on the policies of the relevant bank or payment provider, and Press Earth is not responsible for these delays.
If no solution can be found, this Policy and related disputes are subject to Delaware State Laws. The Delaware Court of Chancery and, when appropriate, the Delaware Federal District Court have exclusive jurisdiction in resolving disputes.
Press Earth reserves the right to update this Cancellation and Refund Policy. The current version takes effect as soon as it is published on the website and applies to new purchases. Previous purchases are subject to the policy in effect on the order date.
